Text: 2 Chronicles 7:11-18.
“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land”, verse 14. Humility calls for a broken heart. It calls for dependence on God. You need to be humble and come to God with a broken heart as a person or community and seek God’s face. And God promises to forgive your sin and heal the land.
Reflect more on verse 14, what five steps is God telling you to go through in order to heal your land and family? How are you going to apply them to your life?
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help me to humble myself, pray, seek Your face and turn from their wickedness that is surrounding
me, Father, heal my family and the community I am in. Amen.
