“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.” 2 Cor. 10:4
The African exodus cannot happen until we are equipped to deal with these strongholds.

Psalms 18:34 says, “He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.” As we look forward to the African exodus, we need divine training to overcome these strongholds.

Whenever God wants to deal with stubborn strongholds, He raises and equips men and women for Himself. He is no respecter of persons and He may raise people without a background and make them a battle axe in the hands of the Lord. He used Elijah to cut down the stronghold of idolatry and have the worship of God reinstituted in a nation (1Kings16: 29-33).

We must be non-compromising children of God and must be totally delivered to take on such a divine assignment. Acts 7:11, 1Kings 17:1, Ezekiel 3, 1Kings 18:5-16 .

Breaking Strongholds
1. Dealing with strongholds will require believers to set the agenda!
If there is a stronghold in your family, community or nation, you must not allow the children of the devil to set the agenda for you.
Elijah set the agenda on how to deal with the strong hold of idolatry (2Kings 18:19; 1 Kings 17:45)
2. Dealing with strongholds will require you to be continuous intercessors. Resist opening spiritual doors to Satan such as prayerlessness for it leads to powerlessness. 1 Sam12:23, Isaiah 62:6, 1Sam7:8. There are two important concepts in intercession; Intervention – To step into a situation with divine purpose in view. By doing this we put the power of darkness under our feet (Acts 12:5).

Interception – Means to stop, takeover and even reverse the direction of something.
There are things we can stop and reverse as intercessors (Isaiah. 36-39).
Intercession is a full-time and ongoing task which allows you access to power and to cover. An intercessor is a watchman. With the spirit of God enabling us, we need to watch for families, church, and, nation so that we can overcome the enemy.

Questions
1. Who has set an agenda for your life?
2. Where is God calling you to stand in the gap and how will you respond?

Prayer points
1. Pray that God will raise and train people that will call upon His name to intervene and change the spiritual pollution over Africa.
2. Pray that God will anoint people to deal with strongholds in families, the church, the nation and Africa.
3. Pray that God will equip us with a burden to continuously be at the foot of His throne.
